Human Race’s London Cycle Sportive – 10th May 2015

Human Race’s London Cycle Sportive – 10th May 2015 Photos by Dave Sherman and Sportcam.net  It was a chilly morning as I arrived at Dulwich College’s car park. Without a doubt Dulwich is one of my favourite parts of South London with its old-fashioned village feel, quiet roads and of course the beautiful Dulwich Park which I’ve run round a few times during 5k and 10k races over the past few years. However this time I wouldn’t be running through the leafy pathways but instead joining thousands of cyclists as…

The 2013 Helly Hansen Killarney Adventure Race, #2, Ireland

By Dave Sherman The Helly Hansen Killarney Adventure Race was held on Saturday 5th October, 2013. There were 3 distances to choose from; a 27km route, a 59km and a 69km, all involving a mix of trail running, cycling and kayaking. We chose the 69km. For years I’d planned to visit Ireland but even though it’s only just over an hour flight from London I’d never gotten round to it, so when I was invited to take part in the Killarney Adventure Race I jumped at the chance. The website…

The Neolithic Full and Half Marathon, and Bike Ride

The Neolithic Marathon event was organised by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and held on Sunday 6th May, 2012. First of all, here’s a film of the event, it’ll give you an idea of what to expect from the route. Part 1; The Full Marathon, by Dave Wise First of all, I’ll say that the event organisation by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust was fine, the race packs came through well in time and all directions and instructions were clear. It didn’t take that long to drive to Stonehenge from Kent, not as…
